Dive into the festive season with a fin-tastic pantomime that’s sure to make a splash with the entire family.

After smashing box office records last year with The Adventures of Pinocchio, the Grand Opera House premieres another new pantomime title on its iconic stage - The Little Mermaid!

Join Ariel, the bravest mermaid in King Triton’s kingdom, as she fights off the evil Sea Witch who stole her voice in return for making her dream of living among humans come true.

Belfast’s beloved pantomime Dame, May McFettridge, returns as Queen May for her 36th pantomime season to lead a mer-mazing cast including Belfast panto favourites Paddy Jenkins as The King, Adam C Booth as Conor Crabsticks, and Jolene O’Hara as the kind-hearted Sea Spirit. Completing the line-up are Jalisa Phoenix-Roberts as The Sea Witch, Rhiannon Chesterman as Ariel and Adam Gillian as Prince Eric.

Featuring the pantomime hallmarks that Grand Opera House audiences know and love, The Little Mermaid offers thrilling song-and-dance, glittering costumes, dazzling staging, jaw-dropping special effects, and laugh-out-loud comedy.

The enchanting fairytale is brought to life from page to stage by the team behind The Adventures of Pinocchio, The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and is staged by the biggest pantomime company in the world, Olivier award-winning producer Michael Harrison on behalf of Crossroads Pantomimes.

The Grand Opera House opened with a pantomime in December 1895, and for 130 years has welcomed generations of families to be part of the panto magic.
